Our Board

The work of the Red Rose Foundation is enabled by a team of highly skilled and experienced counsellors, group facilitators and court support team. The Red Rose Foundation support team work to provide trauma-informed, therapeutic support specifically tailored to respond to the needs of women and families who have experienced high-risk domestic and family violence.

Brian is the Senior Lecturer, Head of Course for the Domestic and Family Violence Practice Program at Central Queensland University.

Di has worked in the area of gender based violence for over 37 years and is currently Director of the Gold Coast Centre Against Sexual Violence Inc.

Susan is the Director of Policy and Systems at QNADA, a Director at the National Redress Scheme and former Manager of the Domestic and Family Violence Death Review Unit of the Coroners. Court of Qld.

Betty Taylor

Betty has worked across the domestic violence sector for over 28 years and is a current member of the Child Death Review Panel and the Domestic Violence Death review Board.

Corinne is a passionate advocate with a strong focus on creating the best possible future for young people.

She is the Assistant Minister for Education and Youth Justice – two areas she's extremely passionate about as a former teacher and school Principal.

Michelle has worked in the human services sector for almost 30 years including disability, health, and domestic violence. She has worked in both Government and non-Government sectors in a variety of roles.

Yasmin is the founder and CEO of the Bangle Foundation. She is a community advocate, who successfully founded and ran the award winning Eidfest for 11 years, a festival that celebrates the end of Ramadhan.

Domestic, Family Violence and Vulnerable Persons Command,

The Red Rose Foundation has a team of both paid and volunteer professional drawn from diverse professional backgrounds including psychology, social work, counselling, social science, policing and health. The Red Rose Foundation also offers a limited number of student placement specifically from students studying post graduate degrees.
