About the event

October is Sexual Violence Awareness Month. To raise awareness of the intersection of domestic, family, and sexual violence the Red Rose Foundation is holding its highly regarded 2 day training on high risk high harm. This training is suitable for sector workers, high-risk teams, police and justice employees, court support, and anyone whose professional response will #ChangeTheEnding #SVAM2024.

The training will cover:

• Strangulation: High-Risk Violence

• The Deadly S

• Understanding Risk and Safety Assessments

• Acquired Brain including Anoxic Brain Injury

• Intimate Partner Sexual Violence

• Predominant Aggressor and high risk offenders

• PTSD and Trauma Responses

• Vicarious Trauma
